Shipping policy

1. Introduction

At Earth Story Farms, we work with multiple delivery partners to ensure your products reach you fresh, in the most efficient and sustainable way possible.

This Shipping Policy outlines everything you need to know about how we process, ship, and deliver your orders.

2. Shipping Locations

We currently ship across India.

If you are located outside India and wish to place an order, please reach out to us through our contact page, and we will do our best to assist you.

3. Order Processing Time

  • Orders are typically processed within 2 business days.
  • Orders placed after 12:00 PM will be processed on the next business day.
  • Orders are not processed on Sundays and public holidays.

4. Shipping Timelines

  • Same City (Kolkata, West Bengal): 1–2 business days
  • Standard Shipping: 4–6 business days
  • Express Shipping: 2–3 business days

Note: Deliveries to remote or hard-to-reach areas may take longer than the timelines mentioned above.

5. Shipping Charges

  • Free Standard Shipping on orders above ₹999
  • Standard Shipping Charge: ₹75 (for orders below ₹999)
  • Express Shipping: ₹150

We do not provide COD (Cash on Delivery) service.

In rare cases, additional charges may apply for remote or hard-to-reach locations.

6. Order Tracking

Once your order is shipped, you will receive tracking details via email and WhatsApp.

You can track your order through:

  • Our tracking page
  • The courier partner’s official website using the AWB number shared with you
  • The Orders section in your account page

7. Delivery Partners

We work with trusted delivery partners such as DTDC, Delhivery, and Blue Dart.

While we strive to choose the most suitable partner for each order, deliveries are handled by third-party logistics providers. In rare cases of issues arising from their services, we may not be directly liable, but we will always support you in resolving the matter.

8. Delays & Exceptions

Delivery timelines may be affected due to unforeseen circumstances.

While we do our best to minimise delays, we are not liable for delays caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, or disruptions in logistics networks.

9. Address & Delivery Issues

To ensure smooth delivery, please provide accurate details and stay updated via email and WhatsApp notifications.

We may not be responsible in cases where:

  • Incorrect address or contact details are provided
  • The customer is unavailable at the time of delivery
  • Delivery attempts fail due to customer-related issues

Delivery will be attempted up to 3 times. If unsuccessful, the package will be returned to us. Re-shipping will require additional charges.

10. Damaged or Tampered Packages

We take great care in packaging your order.

If you receive a damaged or tampered package, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with:

  • Photos and videos of the package and product
  • Your order details

11. Split Shipments

In rare cases, your order may be shipped in multiple parts due to product availability or fulfilment from different locations.
