Didn't quite like it. I have tasted better taler gur.

There was no specific aroma of taal gurh

Very bad
had ordered cubes but when delivered got melted gur .
Taste also not that good as advertised.

We are glad to get your review so that it gives us an opportunity to explain. Our palm jaggery or Taal Gur is 100% pure and has no added sugar or stabiliser. Hence in warm climate and transit, there are chances that gur cubes can melt into a block. But this a sign or purity rather than the gur having a defect. If the gur doesnt naturally react to change in temperatures and do not melt, then it would raise a question about the amount of preservatives and stabilisers used in it. Still, we try to cook the sap further to ensure harder cubes that do not melt so easily. These are small changes we as consumers also need to make if we want to encourage pure, preservative free, chemical free products on our tables. We would love to have you back on our site and help you with any other products you might like.

When I purchased it first time (May26), it was really marvelous experience... soft, palm flavoured, really tasty one...
But 2nd time(Jun26) just opposite experience, very hard sugar contained more, jaggery less and flavoured is also lesser than previous... quality is sacrificed ... very disappointed...

Hence the changes in the climate, the every batch of palm tree sap differs from each other. Every batch of Taal jaggery cubes differs from each other because of the sap quality. If the sap or jaggery doesn't naturally react to change in temperatures, then it would raise a question about the amount of preservatives and stabilizers used in it to make it same batches. These are small changes we as consumers also need to know if we want to encourage pure, preservative free, chemical free products on our tables.
