Our Ragi Whole Grain
Shaped by the red laterite soils of Ramgarh, slow and naturally high mineral profile, our Ragi develops a clean, nutty sweetness unique to the region’s terroir. Naturally rich in calcium, iron, and slow-release nutrition, it’s a grain that feeds with flavour as much as it fortifies.
Recipe: Whole Ragi salad with smoked ghee and lime
Soak whole Ragi overnight, then pressure-cook until the grains turn tender.
Toss the warm Ragi with finely chopped cucumber, roasted peanuts, spring onions, and a squeeze of fresh lime.
In a tiny pan, heat ESF Desi Cow Ghee until it lightly smokes, then drop in curry leaves, a slit green chilli, and crushed garlic. Let it crackle aromatically.
Pour this hot tempering over the salad and mix gently; finish with black pepper and a pinch of ESF Palm Jaggery for balance.
